Alexandra Feigin Honored as Bulgarian Flag Bearer for Winter Games Opening Ceremony

Jerusalem, 3 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) -- Sofia (BTA) – Top figure skater Alexandra Feigin said that she is proud to be the flag bearer for the Bulgarian delegation at the Opening Ceremony of the Winter Games on February 6 at the San Siro in Milan.

For the 23-year-old Feigin, this will be the second Olympics in her career, after she placed 23rd in Beijing 2022.

“Dreams don’t stop with one Olympics. For the second time, I will have the honor of participating in the Winter Olympic Games – Milan-Cortina 2026 and representing Bulgaria. And this time – with even greater responsibility and pride, as a flag bearer. Dream, work, journey . . . and a lot of heart,” Feigin wrote on her Instagram profile.

The women’s figure skating competitions at the Olympics in Italy will be held on February 17 and 19.

The most successful Bulgarian biathlete Vladimir Iliev will be the second flag bearer of the Bulgarian Olympic team at the opening of the Games in Milan-Cortina 2026. The flag bearers are a man and a woman, with Alexandra Feigin carrying the flag in Milan, and Vladimir Iliev will be at the ceremony in Cortina d’Ampezzo, where the national biathlon team will also parade.
