Jerusalem, 14 April, 2025 (TPS-IL) -- Israeli forces continued targeting Hamas infrastructure in the Gaza Strip, the Israel Defense Forces said on Monday.

In the past 24 hours, troops destroyed a tunnel route hundreds of meters long and 20 meters deep in Rafah’s Shabura neighborhood, used by Hamas.

Also in southern Gaza, troops found weapons stockpiles and tunnel shafts were discovered in the Morag Corridor between Rafah and Khan Yunis. The IDF said it struck 35 targets including rocket launch sites and a weapons production facility.

In northern Gaza, an attempted Palestinian ambush was thwarted with the help of an Air Force strike.

At least 1,180 people were killed, and 252 Israelis and foreigners were taken hostage in Hamas’s attacks on Israeli communities near the Gaza border on October 7. Of the 59 remaining hostages, 36 are believed to be dead.
