Israel Striking Hezbollah Targets Following Rocket Fire

Jerusalem, 10 December, 2023 (TPS) -- Israeli air defenses intercepted two suspicious aircraft crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory in the Western Galilee on Sunday, the Israel Defense Forces announced.

According to the IDF, two soldiers were moderately injured, and a number of additional soldiers were lightly injured from shrapnel and smoke inhalation. The soldiers were evacuated to hospitals for treatment, and their families notified.

Also on Sunday, Israeli fighter jets completed an extensive series of strikes on Hezbollah terror targets in Lebanese territory.

Among the targets struck were rocket launchers, military infrastructure and compounds belonging to Hezbollah.

Israeli forces also struck a terror cell in Lebanon attempting to fire anti-tank missiles toward the area of Moshav Zar’it.
