Israeli Forces Kill 40 Hamas Terrorists in Gaza
Jerusalem, 25 September, 2024 (TPS) -- Israeli soldiers in Gaza killed more than 40 Hamas terrorists during the last 24 hours, the Israel Defense Forces said on Wednesday.
Among the personnel killed are field commanders, and members of Hamas’s rocket division and propaganda unit, the IDF said.
In the northern Gaza area of Beit Lahiya, soldiers located three rocket launchers, one of which was loaded with rockets.
In central Gaza, soldiers located and destroyed several tunnels in Gaza City and the outskirts of Nuseirat.
And in the Rafah, in southern Gaza, troops killed several gunmen spotted in a tunnel shaft. Numerous weapons were seized.
At least 1,200 people were killed, and 252 Israelis and foreigners were taken hostage in Hamas’s attacks on Israeli communities near the Gaza border on October 7. Of the 97 remaining hostages, more than 30 have been declared dead. Hamas has also been holding captive two Israeli civilians since 2014 and 2015, and the bodies of two soldiers killed in 2014.
