Israeli Military Kills 4 Senior Hamas Figures

Jerusalem, 30 October, 2023 (TPS) -- The Israel Defense Forces said on Sunday afternoon that it killed four senior Hamas figures in Gaza in recent hours as it continued to strike the terror group.

The IDF identified the four as Jamil Baba, commander of Hamas’ naval forces in its Central Brigade; Muhammad Awdallah, a senior operative in Hamas’ production department; Muhammad Safadi, commander of an anti-tank missile unit, and Muwaman Hijazi, a prominent operative in Hamas’ anti-tank missile unit.

Israeli military ground operations inside Gaza continued through the night, with the Israel Defense Forces saying soldiers killed “dozens” of terrorists who had barricaded themselves inside buildings and tunnels and tried to attack troops overnight.

The IDF said that in one incident, a drone struck a building belonging to Hamas with more than 20 of the terror group’s operatives inside.

Also overnight, an Israeli fighter jet struck an anti-tank missile launching post in the area of Al-Azhar University in the northern area of the Strip.
