Israeli Security Forces Launch Counterterror Raid in Tulkarem
Jerusalem, 24 December, 2024 (TPS-IL) -- Israeli security forces launched a counterterrorism operation in the Palestinian city of Tulkaerm overnight, eliminating a terrorist in hand-to-hand combat, the Israel Defense Forces said on Tuesday morning. Operations in Tulkarem are ongoing, the army added.
In related operations across Judea and Samaria, forces arrested 18 suspects overall and confiscated weapons, including rifles and pistols. Israeli forces in the Balata refugee camp in Shechem (Nablus) neutralized one terrorist who unsuccessfully tried to flee. Two other other wanted terror suspects were also arrested.
