Jerusalem, 28 November, 2024 (TPS) -- One day after a ceasefire with Hezbollah went into effect, residents of northern Israel began taking stock of damage to their homes on Thursday.
In the 14 months since Hamas’s October 7 attack, the Iran-backed Hezbollah fired more than 16,500 rockets, killing 77 people and injuring approximately 757. Wildfires sparked by the barrages burnt around 230 million square meters of land. Around 68,000 people were displaced.
