SEHA and the Israeli Khan Sagol Maccabi Institute for Research and Innovation are Cooperating to Promote Research Activities

The Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA), the largest healthcare network in the UAE, has signed , an agreement with the Khan Sagol Maccabi Institute for Research and Innovation of Maccabi Healthcare Services, the leading health management organization in Israel, with the aim of promoting joint medical research and technological innovation.
The Khan Sagol Maccabi Institute for Research and Innovation, under the agreement signed on June 29, 2022 at the headquarters of SEHA in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, will provide the necessary support and infrastructure to conduct cooperative and coordinated activities in the areas of research, educational workshops, and the development of digital health technologies and innovation, relying on the expertise of the Khan Sagol Maccabi Institute.
The agreement will also contribute to supporting the emirate’s goals of building a registry for genome research to serve as a solid basis for improving clinical data management, sample collection and clinical report writing.
The partnership focuses on promoting medical research that combines big data capabilities and genetic and clinical research with the goal of advancing personalised medicine, while emphasising medical innovation and the establishment of a regional ecosystem that will support joint research activities. Studies will be conducted in cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and more.
“This partnership supports SEHA’s vision and objectives of exploring collaboration opportunities in other areas that foster cooperation in education, research, health technology, and clinical programs.
