Wanted Palestinians Arrested in Counterterror Raids

Jerusalem, 25 April, 2024 (TPS) -- Israeli security forces arrested eight wanted Palestinians in counterterror operations around Judea and Samaria overnight, the Israel Defense Forces said on Thursday

Six of the terror suspects were arrested in the Tulkarem area. Two others were arrested in the city of Hebron and the village of Nabi Saleh, near Ramallah.

During the raid in Nabi Saleh, soldiers confiscated a gun and and destroyed a bomb in the suspect’s possession.

Meanwhile in Ramallah and the village of Beit Furik in Samaria, violent disturbances broke out during which terrorists threw stones at soldiers, who fired back. Accordin to the IDF, one Palestinian in Ramallah was injured.

Also, in Beit Dagan and Talfit, soldiers confiscated military equipment and inciting material.

No Israeli forces were injured in any of the raids.

Since October 7, approximately 3,850 Palestinian terror suspects have been arrested in Judea and Samaria, of whom roughly 1,650 are associated with Hamas.
