Stray bullets from Egypt land in southern Israeli town

Several tray bullets, apparently fired form Egypt, were discovered in a town in southern Israel on Thursday evening, the IDF said in a statement, adding that it sees an incident such as this “with great severity” and that they will be investigating it.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Israel will “continue to act aggressively against Iran’s attempt to entrench itself in Syria.”
Netanyahu made the remarks on Thursday at the at the fifth Israel-Greece-Cyprus summit in Beersheba.
The comments were made after US President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that he would be pulling troops out of Syria, which is expected to take place over the coming months.
He added that Israel continues its efforts to thwart the terror tunnels on the Israel-Lebanon border.
“We do not plan to reduce our efforts on either of these fronts, we will escalate them, and I know that we do so with the full support and backing of the US,” he said
Second measles death confirmed in Israel

An 82-year-old woman has died from measles, among other illnesses, in Jerusalem, the Health Ministry announced Thursday morning.
This is the second death from the illness since the pandemic outbreak began earlier this year.
The elderly woman was taken to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem earlier this month after falling ill from the sickness.
Last month, an 18-month-old from the ultra-Orthodox community died of the illness in Jerusalem.
The Ministry of Health said that as of Wednesday, 2,690 patients had been diagnosed with measles over 2018. It peaked in October in which 948 patients. In November ,there was a slight decrease with 893 patients, and so far for December there have only been 194 cases of measles.
Report: Palestinians and IDF clash in Dheisheh

IDF forces and Palestinian rioters are clashing in Dheisheh, a suburb of Bethlehem on Wednesday, Palestinian media reported.
According to the report, several rioters were injured.
