The US State Department confirmed that Hallel Ariel, the 13-year-old Israeli girl murdered in her sleep by a Palestinian terrorist who broke into her home on Thursday morning, was an American citizen and condemned “the brutal act of terrorism.”

An Israeli man was stabbed in an apparent terror attack in Netanya. The victim, approximately 30 years old, is in serious condition and is receiving medical treatment. The stabber has been shot and neutralized.

The 31-year-old security volunteer injured in Thursday morning’s terror attack, which claimed the life of 13-year-old Hallel Yaffa Ariel,  is in stable condition after being taken to Hadassah Ein Kerem and treated for moderate to severe wounds, according to a Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center spokesperson.

Hallel Yaffa Ariel, the 13 year old victim in today’s stabbing attack in Kiryat Arba, died of her wounds.

A stabbing attack occurred near Kiryat Arba, wounding two Israelis. The terrorist was reportedly killed.
