Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman stressed that Israel and the US remain in full agreement on Israel’s security, during his address at a special roll-out ceremony of the F-35 jet to arrive in Israel this December, at the Lockheed Martin factory in Fort Worth, Texas.

“It’s not a secret that we have from time to time some disagreements and disputes on a political level regarding solutions with our neighbors,” conceded Liberman. “When it comes to Israel’s security, we really enjoy full understanding, fruitful cooperation and strong commitment to our security concerns and needs.”

President Reuven Rivlin criticized the French Peace Initiative during a speech he made at the European Parliament.

“The initiative suffers from serious flaws,” said Rivlin. “The attempt to return to negotiations just to return to negotiations, not only does not bring us closer to a long-awaited solution, but distances us from it.”

Jerusalem (TPS) – During the Knesset’s plenary session on Wednesday, Deputy Defense Minister Eli Ben-Dahan caused a commotion by announcing his adamant objection to a Palestinian state and calling to annex all of Judea and Samaria.

“After the full annexation – Palestinians who wish to become Israeli citizens will have to prove their loyalty and go through a period of naturalization, just like in the United States,” said Ben-Dahan.

Ben-Dahan’s comments aroused anger and loud opposition from Israeli Arab MKs as well as from Jewish MKs. Mickey Levy of the Yesh Atid party and Yoel Hasson of the Zionist Union interrupted Ben-Dahan and claimed his idea will “bring an end to a Jewish State.”

IDF and police forces discovered and seized a shotgun and ammunition at a home in the Palestinian village of Azun in Samaria. Machinery for manufactoring shotgun bullets was also found in the search. A Palestinian man has been arrested and taken for questioning.

IDF, police and Border Police forces arrested 17 terror suspects overnight in Judea and Samaria, including one Hamas operative. The rest are suspected of participating in violent riots directed at Israeli civilians and security forces. They have been taken for questioning.
