Parents Demand Government Protect Children in Daycare

Jerusalem, 8 July, 2019 (TPS) -- Parents and social activists took to the streets at several locations in Israel on Sunday night to protest several recent incidents of daycare workers who were caught abusing the children in their care.

Most recently, Carmel Mauda from Rosh Ha’Ayin was arrested last week after she was recorded viciously treating the children she was taking care of.

The thousands of demonstrators demanded that the government intervene and introduce official guidelines and licensing for daycare programs.
