People in Jerusalem Celebrate Coalition Government’s Possible Fall

Jerusalem, 6 April, 2022 (TPS) -- Right-wing Israelis celebrate near the Knesset compound in Jerusalem after Member of Knesset Idit Silman, the chairwoman of Prime Minister Naftali Bennett’s coalition, announced she was quitting the coalition, thus depriving Bennett of his very slim majority in the Knesset. The celebrants hope that either a new right-wing government will be formed or new elections will be called soon.
