Tu B’Av, The Holiday of Romance

Jerusalem, 19 August, 2024 (TPS) -- Israelis in Tel Aviv celebrate Tu B’Av on Aug. 19, 2024. The holiday, which falls on the 15th day of the Hebrew month of Av, marks the day that members of the tribe of Benjamin were allowed to marry into other tribes, as described in the Book of Judges.
