Teen Arrested for Throwing Molotov Cocktails at Hospital

Jerusalem, 6 July, 2016 (TPS) -- Jerusalem (TPS) The Jerusalem District Police arrested a 16-year-old resident of the village of Isawiyya, for throwing firebombs at Hadassah Hopital on Mount Scopus last Monday.
“Intelligence and forensic evidence were gathered which led to the minor’s arrest. During questioning, the suspect confessed that he threw Molotov cocktails in to the backyard of the hospital,” stated a spokesperson with the Jerusalem District Police.
“Luckily, he did not cause any damage or injuries in this incident. However, In March 2015, the same minor also left a Molotov cocktail on the road near the Hebrew University, where the driver of a car had to swerve out of the road to avoid the explosion,” he added.
The suspect was arrested a few days ago and will be brought in for an additional hearing tomorrow, where a request for an indictment will be issued.
