State of Emergency Declared on Four Greek Islands Amid Aegean Seismic Activity

Jerusalem, 16 February, 2025 (TPS-IL) -- Istanbul (AZERTAC) – A state of emergency has been declared on another Greek island, Nios, due to increased seismic activity in the Aegean Sea in recent weeks.

AZERTAC reports that a statement issued by Greece states that this regime on the island will continue until March 14, and the education system will be suspended until February 17.

In the past two weeks, a state of emergency has also been declared on the Greek islands of Yamourgi, Anafia, and Santorini.
