Qatari Ambassador arrives in Gaza
The head of the Qatari National Committee for the reconstruction of Gaza, Ambassador Mohammed al-Emadi, arrived in the Gaza Strip on Thursday evening, in order to to assist with the Qatari efforts to resurrect the Gaza Strip. According to Palestinian media, al-Emadi crossed over from Israel, through the Erez border crossing.
Attorney General on Case 3000: ‘serious, severe and significant ‘
Attorney General Avichai Mendelblit commented on the Case 3000 submarine affair on Thursday, calling it “serious, severe and significant,” adding that it’s ‘good the Israeli Police saw it through with the investigation.”
IDF fires at Palestinians damaging border fence, killing one
The IDF said Thursday that a group of Palestinians from Gaza were tampering with the border fence on Thursday afternoon, when troops fired at them, killing one.
In the statement released by the IDF Spokesperson’s unit, it was stated that the troops fired in accordance with the rules of engagement.
Two lightly hurt in attack on bus near Beit El
Two people were lightly hurt when shots were fired at a bus travelling from Beit El to Jerusalem, Thursday night. The bus was hit by eight bullets. The incident occurred at around 10:30 p.m. A man in his 50s and a man of 30 were lightly hurt by glass shrapnel.
IDF unsuccessful in apprehending Barkan terrorist
IDF forces withdrew from the village of Shweika near Tulkarem in northern Samaria, after an unsuccessful attempt to locate and capture 23-year-old Ashraf Naalwa, the Palestinian who murdered two Israelis, 28-year-old Kim Levengrond-Yehezkel and 35-year-old Ziv Hajbi, may be hiding. The IDF and Shin Bet have been on a manhunt for Naalwa since the October 7 attack at the Alon Metal factory in the Barkan Industrial Zone.
