Israeli woman dies on hike in Jordan

A 30 year-old Israeli woman has died while on an organized trip to Jordan, the Israeli Foreign Ministry reported Thursday. The Israeli Embassy in Amman is in contact with the woman’s family, and will oversee the transfer of her body back to Israel.

Report: 10 More Women Accuse Netanyahu’s Foreign Spokesman Of Sexual Misconduct

A further 10 women have accused Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s foreign spokesman David Keyes of sexual harassment.

A total of 12 women have now accused Keyes of sexual misconduct.

The report on the 10 women by The Times of Israel comes almost a day after two women – a controversial New York State Senate candidate Julia Salazar and a Wall Street Journal reporter Shayndi Raice – accused Keyes of sexual harassment.

According to the report, the 10 women who came forward in recent months, alleged that Keyes made overly aggressive advances and that there were incidents of inappropriate behavior, including one detailed accusation of physically aggressive behavior by Keyes.

On Wednesday,  Keyes vehemently denied the accusations saying: “All of the accusations are deeply misleading and many of them are categorically false.”

Palestinian Stabber Gets 35 Years In Prison

A 21-year-old Palestinian from Hebron has been sentenced to 35 years in prison on two counts of attempted murder.

Ayman Kurd stabbed two police officers during an attack at Herod’s Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem in September 2016, maiming one of the officers – a mother of two – for life after he severed her spinal cord.

A second police officer was also wounded in the attack.

The court also ordered Kurd to pay NIS 258,000 to female officer and NIS 70,000 to the second officer.

Kurd admitted that the attack was done out of revenge for the killing of a relative who was killed while he too was committing a stabbing.

 

IDF attacks arson balloon squad

“Israel is a rising superpower,” Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said at a Likud party event commemorating the Jewish New Year, “We have taken back the ability to defend ourselves against any threat. We are striking our enemies and maintaining security with determination and success. We will continue to lead the country for many years.”
