The Israeli Supreme Court partially accepted the petition against the demolition of the home of terrorist Mohammed Nasser Tarayra, responsible for the murder of 13-year-old Hallel Yaffa in her Kiryat Arba home.
The Palestinian terrorist was killed by security forces during the event and his family had petitioned the Supreme Court against the demolition of his home. The Court ruled that only the second floor of the building was to be destroyed, on condition of the floor not being a supporting structure of the building.
Two of Tarayra’s brothers were indicted for incitement after praising his deeds on social networks.
A pipe bomb was thrown towards an IDF post near the entrance to the Jewish community of Beit El in Samaria. The explosive did not detonate, however, and there were no casualties and no damage. Bomb technicians have been summoned to disarm the bomb.
The Knesset Plenum approved the “Core Curriculum Law” in its second and third reading on Tuesday morning, by a vote of 41 to 28. The law exempts ultra-orthodox schools from the requirement to teach core courses in English, math, and science, essentially overturning legislation in the previous government that made such classes necessary in order for schools to receive government funding.
