Jerusalem, 7 October, 2015 (TPS) -- Close to 20:30 tonight, a car driven by an Arab assailant broke through a security checkpoint near the Israeli town of Ma’ale Adumim in an attempt to run over a police officer.
Jerusalem Police spokesperson reported that the intended victim opened defensive fire at the ramming vehicle, neutralizing the driver.
Magen David Adom paramedics evacuated the terrorist to a Jerusalem hospital and have confirmed him to be suffering moderate injuries.
Two Israeli civilians sustained light injury as a result of the vehicular attack and are on their way to a hospital in Jerusalem.
Jerusalem, 7 October, 2015 (TPS) -- Petah Tikva (TPS) – An Arab suspect attacked several civilian victims before being neutralized and arrested by police, outside the main shopping mall on Jabotinsky street on Wednesday evening, October 7.
At least one victim (25) suffered serious injuries after being stabbed several time in the chest by the terrorist around 18:30.
Magen David Adom paramedics are treating other victims at the site, having evacuated the the priority victim to the nearby Beilinson hospital.
Beilinson hospital and MDA spokespersons related that the wounded victim is currently fully conscious and in light to moderate condition.
Israeli police have confirmed that they have apprehended the terrorist suspect alive.
Jerusalem, 7 October, 2015 (TPS) -- Jerusalem (TPS) – An Israeli Old City patrolman sustained head injury after being hit by rocks thrown by Arab rioters near the Damascus gate.
The Policeman was evacuated by Magen David Adom to the Hadassa hospital. Two perpetrators were arrested on the scene.
Jerusalem, 7 October, 2015 (TPS) -- In what appears to be yet another act of terror, an Israeli soldier was attacked and his weapon was grabbed on Wednesday afternoon, October 7, on a bus in the southern city of Kiryat Gat. He was lightly wounded, along with another man, and both were treated bfor their wounds.
The assailant stabbed the soldier in the head and managed to take his personal weapon before fleeing to a nearby building, where he was pursued by police forces.
He began shooting at the police, who, under threat, shot and killed him, according to Israeli Police. No casualties were reported among the security forces.
The attack comes just a few hours after a female, 18-year-old Muslim terrorist stabbed a 36-year-old Israeli civilian in Jerusalem’s Old City, among multiple terrorist incidents over the past week.
Jerusalem, 7 October, 2015 (TPS) -- An 18-year-old female Muslim terrorist stabbed a 36-year-old Israeli in his upper body on Wednesday morning, October 7, near the Lion’s Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem.
The victim, who was lightly to moderately wounded and treated at the scene before being taken to hospital, managed to shoot and neutralize his attacker. She was taken to Hadassah Ein-Karem hospital in serious condition.
According to Israeli police, the terrorist managed to pass through security before carrying out the attack.
Immediately after the attack, police evacuated Jews from the Temple Mount. Muslims who were there rushed to the scene of the attack, shouting and cursing, according to a group that was visiting the Mount.
Israel had restricted Palestinian access to the Mount and to the Old City for two days in the wake of last week’s terror attacks in Jerusalem and surroundings that claimed the lives of four civilians. Wednesday’s attack comes after police ended the ban earlier in the morning.
