Fighter jets hit Palestinian Islamic Jihad targets

Jerusalem, 27 October, 2018 (TPS) -- IDF jets struck eight Palestinian Islamic Jihad targets in the Gaza Strip Saturday morning, a military spokesman said.  The IDF said three military compounds had been hit and the targets included weapons manufacturing facilities and a factory producing concrete plates for building tunnels. The strikes followed over 80 sorties against Hamas and Islamic Jihad targets overnight. Earlier, the IDF said Islamic Jihad was behind rocket fire against Israel since Friday night and that the group was being directed by the regime in Syria and by the Iranian Quds force.
