World chess champion Anatoly Karpov, along with world chess champion Anand Viswanathan, participates in a simultaneous game against dozens of players adjacent Jaffa Gate in the Old City, as is part of a chess happening event promoted by Ministry of Jerusalem and Heritage, in cooperation with the Jerusalem Municipality, the Jerusalem Development Authority and the Israel Chess Association, in honor of 70th anniversary of Israel's independence celebrations and to express the importance of the city of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and position
