Israeli Driver Wounded by Rock-Throwing North of Ramallah

An Israeli woman was lightly wounded after Palestinian terrorists pelted rocks at her car near Sinjil in the Binyamin region, north of Ramallah.

She was taken for treatment in the nearby town of Ofra, suffering from shrapnel in her eyes.

Hamas Thanks Turkey, Commits to Continued Fight Against Israel

The Hamas terrorist organization that controls the Gaza Strip thanked Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, for addressing the humanitarian needs of Gaza’s population in its reconciliation agreement with Israel. However, Hamas committed to continuing its fight against Israel.

“Despite this, we will continue our resistance against Israel,” the terrorist organization said in a statement.

Goldin and Shaul Families to Meet With Netanyahu and UN Secretary General

The families of Hadar Goldin and Oron Shaul, both soldiers who were killed and then captured by Hamas during Operation Protective Edge in 2014, will be meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the Prime Minister’s Office. The families will then meet with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon.

Both families have expressed their opposition to the reconciliation agreement with Turkey in the absence of any update on the remains of the two soldiers or their return for proper burial.

Jewish Home Party Ministers To Vote Against Reconciliation With Turkey

Education Minister and Jewish Home Party Chairman Naftali Bennett announced that he will be voting against the pending reconciliation agreement with Turkey in tomorrow’s Cabinet vote, after receiving an update on the agreement from the National Security Council.

“Reconciliation with Turkey is important at this time and to the interests of the State of Israel,” conceded Bennett. “However, payment of compensation to the perpetrators of a terrorist act is a dangerous precedent that Israel will regret it in the future.”

The terrorist act referenced by Bennett were Turkish nationals on the Mavi Marmara flotilla to Gaza in 2010 attacking IDF soldiers who arrived on the flotilla armed with only paintball guns.

Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked of the Jewish Home party is also expected to vote against the pending agreement.

Police Close Temple Mount to Jews, Palestinians Throw Rocks at Western Wall

The Jerusalem police has announced that the Temple Mount will be closed to Jews and to tourists until the end of the week, following clashes this week between the police and violent Muslim rioters on the mount who attempted to harm Jews at the holy site.

However, the Palestinians continued their violence even after this announcement, throwing rocks and other objects at police forces and at Jewish worshipers at the nearby Western Wall compound. A woman at the Western Wall was slightly wounded from the rock throwing and was treated at the scene by medical staff.
