Speaking at the 2016 Herzliya conference, former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger spoke out against the idea of a comprehensive agreement between Israel and its Arab neighbors.

“Gradual interim agreements between Israel and the Arab states are preferable to a comprehensive and broader agreement, which countries will have more trouble keeping,” Kissinger said.

The former Secretary of State’s remarks were made against the backdrop of recent remarks made by Israeli officials including Prime Minister Netanyahu, expressing openness towards a modified and updated version of the Arab Peace Initiative launched by Saudi Arabia in 2002.

Several firefighting teams and emergency workers are attempting to control a forest fire, that began in the Jerusalem Forest, next to the Har Hamenuchot Cemetery.

IDF, Border Police and police forces arrested 12 Palestinian terror suspects overnight throughout Judea and Samaria. Palestinian media outlets published reports alleging that the IDF attacked a Hamas terror tunnel in Gaza on Tuesday evening.

According to these reports, the tunnel was bombed in an air raid by the Israeli Air Force.

The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit stated only that “there was an experiment conducted in the sector.”
