France Peace Initiative Conference Delayed

French President Fracois Hollande announced this morning that the French Peace Initiative conference originally scheduled to take place in Paris at the end of this month between a number of foreign ministers, will be delayed due to the inability of US Secretary of State John Kerry to attend.

Police Remove Two Illegal Palestinian Homes Located on City of David National Park

Jerusalem Police and the Nature and Parks Authority demolished two illegal Palestinian homes this morning, that were built in 2002 on the property of the City of David National Park located outside Jerusalem’s Old City.

Two months ago, the courts rejected a request to delay the demolition.

IDF Arrests 5 Palestinian Terror Suspects Overnight

IDF and Border Police forces arrested five Palestinian terror suspects overnight in Judea and Samaria. Three of them are suspected of participating in violent riots endangering civilians and security forces. At least one of the suspects is a member of Hamas. They have been transferred for questioning.

Two Palestinian Teens Arrested for Attempted Arson in Jerusalem

Police and Border Police forces have arrested to Palestinian teenagers aged 16 and 13, for allegedly attempting to start a fire on purpose near the Jerusalem neighborhood of Issawiyeh. They were taken for questioning.

Court Extends Katsav’s Deadline to File an Appeal Against Parole Board Decision

The Lod District Court has approved the request by Former President Moshe Katsav’s lawyers to delay until Thursday the deadline for filing an appeal against the Parole Board’s decision to not reduce Katsav’s prison term by a third.

Katsav is serving a seven-year prison term for sexual offenses, including rape.
