Electricity was restored to approximately fifteen communities in the Galilee region that lost power due to a fire in the community of Shlomi, located in the western Galilee.

Israeli Police Arrests Two Waqf Members for Attacking Jews on Temple Mount

The Jerusalem police said it had arrested two members of the Jordanian Waqf on the Temple Mount on Tuesday afternoon, who suspectedly attacked and harassed Jews in the holy compound.

In total, 267 Jews and 557 non-Muslim tourists entered the Temple Mount on Tuesday.

Twelve Jews Removed From Temple Mount by Police

Twelve Jews who were visiting the Temple Mount were removed by police forces who were closely supervising them. A police statement said they had violated the strict rules imposed upon religious Jews at the compound.

In total, 30 Jews have been removed or arrested on the Temple Mount during the first three intermediary days of Passover.

Three Palestinians Arrested After Planning Terror Attack in Jerusalem

Three Palestinians from Nablus were arrested overnight by a special police force, after suspectedly planning to carry out a terror attack in Jerusalem.

After a long search for the suspects, the forces arrested the three in the Jabl Mukaber neighborhood in Jerusalem and were taken for questioning.

Seven Jews Indicted for Committing Attacks Against Palestinians

Indictments have been filed at the Central District Court in Lod against seven Israeli Jews, who are suspected of committing a series of nationally motivated attacks against Palestinians.

The suspects include 20-year-old Itamar Ben Aharon and Michael Kaplan, 22-year-old Pinhas Shandorfi, a 19-year-old soldier, and two minors. The identities of the latter three are restricted from publication by a court gag order.

The suspects were deemed a “Jewish terror cell” by the Shin Bet, that arrested them at the beginning of April. The suspected attacks all took place in the Talmonim bloc in the Binyamin region on the second half of 2015.
