Police Remove Seven Jews From Temple Mount

Seven Jews were removed from the Temple Mount on Wednesday by police forces. A police statement said they had violated the rules imposed upon religious Jews at the compound.

In total, 37 Jews have been arrested on the Temple Mount or removed from the compound during the four intermediate days of Passover.

Suspected Serial Killer and Rapist Arrested in Haifa

The police have cleared for publication that Fyodor Beijanri, a 26-year-old resident of Haifa, has been arrested for a wide array of alleged violent crimes, including murdering and raping four women in recent years. He is also suspected of  many cases of arson.

Over 40 days after he was arrested, Beijanri’s identity and photo have been published in hope that members of the public will step forward with additional information that could help the police investigation. Most of the investigation details remain under gag order.

The crimes all took place from 2013 onward, with the latest murder occurring this year. Beijanri has confessed one murder to a police informant.

Attorney Lior Ronen who represents Beijanri, said: “The suspect denies the suspicions attributed to him. He has been under arrest for over 40 days and has yet to learn all of the suspicions. The suspect also made claims about the police’s treatment of him, and these things will be raised in court.”

Two Palestinians Arrested in Late Night IDF Raids, Weapons Confiscated

Hebron (TPS) – Two Palestinians were arrested in two late-night IDF raids Tuesday night for suspected “popular terrorist activity” and violence against civilians and security personnel, an IDF spokesperson announced. One suspect was arrested in the Palestinian city of Qalqilya, while the second suspect was arrested in Sa’ir, a Palestinian village north of Hebron.

During the raid in Sa’ir, the IDF Givati Brigade and police forces confiscated weapons, including a hunting rifle and bullets hidden in an eyeglass case.  

Netanyahu Calls For Investigation of Possible Incitement in Jerusalem Palestinian School

Prime Minister Netanyahu has called for Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit to investigate a possible case of incitement at a Palestinian school in the Jabel Mukaber neighborhood, located in southeastern Jerusalem. At focus is the school having reportedly extended an invitation for the parents of terrorists to speak in front of the school’s students.

Tens of Thousands of Israelis Continue Traveling the Country Over Passover

Tens of thousands of Israelis continued traveling all over the country today, and in particular, to Israel’s forests. Some 100,000 visited the forests in the north, with approximately 100,000 touring the forests in Israel’s central region, and about 20,000 stopping by the forests in Israel’s south.

Meanwhile, the Galilee Authority reported that at least 100,000 people visited the Sea of Galilee and that 90 tons of garbage have been collected at the beaches, since the beginning of the Passover holiday.
