Terrorist Killed by Police after Grabbing IDF Soldier’s Weapon

In what appears to be yet another act of terror, an Israeli soldier was attacked and his weapon was grabbed on Wednesday afternoon, October 7, on a bus in the southern city of Kiryat Gat. He was lightly wounded, along with another man, and both were treated bfor their wounds.

The assailant stabbed the soldier in the head and managed to take his personal weapon before fleeing to a nearby building, where he was pursued by police forces.

He began shooting at the police, who, under threat, shot and killed him, according to Israeli Police. No casualties were reported among the security forces.

The attack comes just a few hours after a female, 18-year-old Muslim terrorist stabbed a 36-year-old Israeli civilian in Jerusalem’s Old City, among multiple terrorist incidents over the past week.

An 18-year-old female Muslim terrorist stabbed a 36-year-old Israeli in his upper body on Wednesday morning, October 7, near the Lion’s Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem.

The victim, who was lightly to moderately wounded and treated at the scene before being taken to hospital, managed to shoot and neutralize his attacker. She was taken to Hadassah Ein-Karem hospital in serious condition.

According to Israeli police, the terrorist managed to pass through security before carrying out the attack.

Immediately after the attack, police evacuated Jews from the Temple Mount. Muslims who were there rushed to the scene of the attack, shouting and cursing, according to a group that was visiting the Mount.

Israel had restricted Palestinian access to the Mount and to the Old City for two days in the wake of last week’s terror attacks in Jerusalem and surroundings that claimed the lives of four civilians. Wednesday’s attack comes after police ended the ban earlier in the morning.

Couple Killed in Terrorist Attack in Samaria

Two Israeli civilians, husband and wife, have been killed in a terror attack which occurred shortly after 21:00 near the Itamar community in Samaria. The Jewish family of six was driving near the Palestinian village of Beit Furik when their vehicle came under heavy gunfire.

The four children in the car, who witnessed their parents’ shooting, have been reportedly safely rescued.

IDF spokesperson has confirmed the tragic event and stated that “IDF forces are currently scouring the area for the terrorists.”

Israeli Minister, Uri Ariel had stated in response to the event that “this murderous occurrence which orphaned four little children is the direct result of Abu Mazen’s litany of lies last night at the United Nations. The responsibility is his and he must answer for it.”

Israeli Injured by Terrorist In Drive-By Shooting

While driving on route 60, Ronen Edri (47) was shot at from a moving vehicle. Edri was evacuated to the Meir Hospital in Kfar Sava, while security forces began blocking the area and searching for the perpetrators.

The Samaria Regional Council spokesperson related Edri’s statement on the incident “I am very angry that we are here in Samaria and we are not safe,” Edri said.

“I feel like we are playing Russian roulette. You are driving down the road and all of a sudden they shoot at you. I am a citizen of Israel and I want to feel safe in my country.”
