J’lem Police Officer Yosef Kirma

Jerusalem Police have confirmed that 29-year-old Advanced Staff Sgt. Major Yosef Kirma was the police officer killed in today’s terror attack.

Kirma will be laid to rest Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the police section of the Mount Herzl military cemetery. He is survived by his wife of four months, parents and two brothers.

Police: Shooting at Jerusalem Light Rail at Ammunition Hill

Jerusalem Police said shots were fired at the area of the Ammunition Hill in Jerusalem.

“Police are dealing with a terrorist attack near the French hill,” said Police Spokesman Micky Rosenfeld. “Police units are at the scene.”

Initial details from the scene indicated that the shots were fired from a vehicle towards a light-rail station on Bar-Lev street. Four people were reported to be injured, including a woman in critical condition.

Molotov Cocktail Hits Car in Gush Etzion, Woman Suffers from Shock

A molotov cocktail thrown by an unknown assailant hit an Israeli car shortly after 8:30 a.m. on Sunday morning between the communities of Efrat and Tekoa, south of Jerusalem, causing the car to catch fire. A woman suffered from shock and was treated by medical forces at the scene.
