Jerusalem Police have arrested 39 people suspected of rioting in eastern Jerusalem this week. In addition, police unearthed a trove of weapons during a search of local homes, including guns, ammunition, bullet proof vests, pyrotechnic equipment, knives and written material encouraging violence.

Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein announced Wednesday that Shimon Peres will lie in state in the Knesset courtyard Thursday. Israelis will have the opportunity to pay their respects. No further details have been released.

An Israeli man arrived around 9:15 p.m. at the community of Shilo in Samaria, after a molotov cocktail was thrown at his car while driving on Route 60 near the village of Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya north of Ramallah and Jerusalem. The man sustained light injuries when his windshield shattered, and is receiving treatment after he was able to continue driving to the Jewish community.

IDF forces arrested six Palestinian terror suspects overnight throughout Judea and Samaria, including one Hamas member. The others  other five are suspected of participating in violent riots and acts of terrorism directed at Israeli civilians and security forces. They have all been taken for questioning.

The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit stated the IDF and security forces launched during the night a large-scale search operation in the village of Jenin in Judea and Samaria during which they raided two weapon factories, and seized four guns, firearms cartridges, ammunition and weapons’ parts that were all transferred to the relevant authorities.

In following night operations in Judea and Samaria, the IDF and police forces also raided another weapon worskshop and confiscated several “Carlo” submachine guns.
