Attempted Stabbing Attack in Samaria, Female Terrorist Apprehended

Shaked Crossing (TPS) – An attempted Stabbing attack by a female Palestinian terrorist occurred on Sunday evening in the Shaked crossing in northern Samaria, IDF Spokesperson’s Unit confirmed.

A female terrorist approached a female IDF soldier at the security checkpoint in Shaked crossing with a knife an aroused the soldiers suspicion.

Sources say that the IDF soldier sustained a very light and shallow wounds to her shoulder while subduing the would be attacker. The female terrorist has been apprehended alive and uninjured.

Court Extends Remand of Sarona Market Terrorists Until the End of Proceedings Against Them

The Tel Aviv Dictrict Court has extended the remand of three Palestinian terrorists who killed four Israelis at the Sarona market in Tel Aviv in June. They will remain in custody until the end of court proceedings against them.

The terrorists are Muhammad Muhamra and Khaled Muhamra, 21-year-old cousins from the village of Yatta in the Mount Hebron region, and 22-year-old Yunis Ayash Musa Zayn who aided the two.

Two Terror Suspects Arrested as IDF Secures Prayer Sites on the Eve of Tish’a Be’av

IDF and Border Police forces arrested two Palestinian terror suspects during the night in Judea and Samaria. A Hamas member was arrested in Beit Ula, near Hebron, and another man was arrested in the Al-Arub refugee camp on suspicion of participating in violent riots directed at Israel civilians and security forces. They were taken for questioning.

IDF and police forces were also deployed around Rachel’s Tomb in Bethlehem and around the Sebastia antiquity site. They carried out open and covert activities in order to ensure that prayers held at those site on the eve of the Tish’a Be’av fast day are held without disturbances.

 

Initial: Stabbing Attack in Jerusalem, Assailant Escaped

A stabbing attack was reported shortly after 2:30 p.m. in A-Tur, an Arab neighborhood in Jerusalem. The reports indicated that an Israeli man was stabbed with a screwdriver near a Jewish residential home, and that he was fully conscious. Magen David Adom teams said he was in light condition, and were transporting him to Shaare Zedek hospital.

The police said forces were at the scene of attack. The stabber was said to have escaped the scene.

Security Forces Arrest 12 Wanted Men In Raids Across Judea And Samaria

The IDF arrested 12 Palestinians suspects, wanted for involvement with terror Thursday morning. Suspects include a members of the terror group Hamas who was arrested in Hebron, and three members of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad group arrested in Jenin and near Bethlehem. All suspects were taken in for questioning by security forces.

In addition to the arrests, the IDF soldiers uncovered a hidden Carl Gustav sub-machine gun, an improvised weapon frequently used by Palestinian terrorists during the recent wave of violence.
