Three IDF Soldiers Wounded in Collision With Palestinian Car in Suspected Terror Attack
A vehicle driven by a Palestinian collided head on with an IDF vehicle at the entrance to the community of Neve Daniel in Gush Etzion shortly after 3:00 p.m., in what the IDF and police are suspecting was an intentional attack.
The military vehicle turned over and three IDF soldiers were lightly wounded. They received treatment by Magen David Adom (MDA) medics, and two of them were taken to hospital. The Palestinian attacker was seriously wounded in his head from the collision, and was taken to hospital as well.
Though the incident first seemed to be an accident, an initial investigation by the IDF and the police suggested that the collision was intentional and that this was in fact a terror attack.
Teen Arrested for Throwing Molotov Cocktails at Hospital
Jerusalem (TPS) The Jerusalem District Police arrested a 16-year-old resident of the village of Isawiyya, for throwing firebombs at Hadassah Hopital on Mount Scopus last Monday.
“Intelligence and forensic evidence were gathered which led to the minor’s arrest. During questioning, the suspect confessed that he threw Molotov cocktails in to the backyard of the hospital,” stated a spokesperson with the Jerusalem District Police.
“Luckily, he did not cause any damage or injuries in this incident. However, In March 2015, the same minor also left a Molotov cocktail on the road near the Hebrew University, where the driver of a car had to swerve out of the road to avoid the explosion,” he added.
The suspect was arrested a few days ago and will be brought in for an additional hearing tomorrow, where a request for an indictment will be issued.
IDF Arrests 4 Palestinians Suspected of Terrorism
IDF forces arrested 4 Palestinians during the night in Judea and Samaria. The four wanted men are suspected of involvement in terrorism and violence towards civilians and security forces. All suspects were taken in for questioning by Shin Bet.
Suspected Stabbing Attack Near Ariel
An attempted stabbing attack occurred in a bus stop on Route 5 near the Israeli city of Ariel. Preliminary reports suggest that the terrorist was shot and is serious condition. All bystanders were unharmed.
The IDF Spokespersons Unit confirmed that a terrorist attack took place in Giti Junction. According to IDF soldiers on the scene, the terrorist is being trated by IDF medics and is in a moderate to serious condition.
Israeli-Arab Woman Receives 22 Months in Prison for Attempting to Join ISIS
Iman Kanjo, a 44-year-old teacher and mother of five from the Israeli-Arab town of Shfar’am in the Galilee, was sentenced on Tuesday morning to 22 months in prison for attempting to join the Islamic State terror organization, also known as ISIS.
According to the indictment filed at the Haifa District Court, Kanjo traveled to Turkey in August 2015 and tried to cross the border into Syria to join the extremist Sunni terrorist organization to give lectures on jihad. She was caught and arrested by Turkish authorities along with some 30 other people from around the world who were plotting to join the Islamic State as well.
