Israeli-Arab Woman Receives 22 Months in Prison for Attempting to Join ISIS

Iman Kanjo, a 44-year-old teacher and mother of five from the Israeli-Arab town of Shfar’am in the Galilee, was sentenced on Tuesday morning to 22 months in prison for attempting to join the Islamic State terror organization, also known as ISIS.

According to the indictment filed at the Haifa District Court, Kanjo traveled to Turkey in August 2015 and tried to cross the border into Syria to join the extremist Sunni terrorist organization to give lectures on jihad. She was caught and arrested by Turkish authorities along with some 30 other people from around the world who were plotting to join the Islamic State as well.

Israeli Woman Injured from Rocks Thrown at Her Car Near Hebron

Rocks were thrown around 10:30 a.m. at Israeli vehicles on Route 60, north of Hebron in Judea. A driver was slightly injured in her face from shards after the rocks shattered one of her car’s windshields. The woman, around 30 years old, received treatment by Magen David Adom medics and was taken in light condition to Shaarei Zedek hospital in Jerusalem.

Palestinian Authority to Boycott the International Quartet

The Palestinian Authority announced that it would boycott the International Quartet, after the quartet released a report accusing the Palestinians of inciting violence.

PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas announced his decision to the institutions of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, and Palestinian sources told the London-based newspaper Al-Hayat that they are disappointed by the quartet’s most recent work.

Three Home-Made Pistols Discovered in Palestinian Village Overnight

IDF forces discovered and seized three home-made pistols during the night in the Palestinian village of Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem, according to the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit.

Additionally, IDF and Border Police forces arrested seven suspects of involvement in terror activity and violent riots in Judea and Samaria. They have been taken for questioning.

IDF Orders Demolition of Home of Terrorist Who Murdered Israeli Teenager in Her Sleep

IDF and COGAT’s Civil Administration officials issued a warrant during the night, ordering the demolition of the home of terrorist Muhammad Tarayreh in the village of Bani Na’im. Tarayreh murdered 13-year-old Hallel Yaffa Ariel on June 30 while she was asleep in her home in Kiryat Arba.

The warrant has been given to the terrorist’s family.
