US $15.5 million to be Allocated for Communities in Judea and Samaria

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that approximately US$15.5 million will be allocated to communities in Judea and Samaria, largely geared for security purposes. “This entails the work of many ministries on behalf of the residents there and will, inter alia, strengthen security, assist small businesses and encourage tourism,” Netanyahu said.

American PR Businessman Killed in Car Accident in Tel Aviv

Alan Weinkrantz, a public relations specialist from Texas, was killed Saturday night in central Tel Aviv while out on dinner.

Weinkrantz was hit by a car that crashed through the sidewalk on the popular Ben Yehuda street Saturday evening, killing him along with the driver and a father of three from Ashdod.

Police believe that the driver, a 41 year old man from Ra’anana, suffered a heart attack which caused him to lose control of his car, which crashed into tables at the Asian restaurant Furama.

 

 

 

 

Four Terror Suspects Arrested Overnight in Judea and Samaria

IDF and Border Police forces arrested four terror suspects overnight in Judea and Samaria, some of which are suspected of participating in violent riots directed towards Israeli civilians and security forces. They have been taken for questioning.

Israel Sends Firefighting Planes to Help Combat Massive Wildfire in Cyprus

Following yesterday’s decision by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan, the IDF has sent firefighting plane to Cyprus to help put out a massive brush-fire.

Three firefighting planes took off on Sunday morning, along with a cargo plane carrying firefighting equipment, to combat the fire in the region of Paphos.

During the big fire in the Carmel region several years ago, Cyprus was the first country to aid Israel by sending firefighting planes.
