Liberman to Meet Netanyahu Over Possibility of Joining the Government

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reportedly called Yisrael Beyteinu Party Leader Avigdor Liberman and invited him to a meeting to discuss the possibility of Liberman joining the government. This follows Liberman’s statement in a press conference this afternoon that joining the government is not out of the question for him, provided a serious offer is made.

The meeting will take place at 4 p.m. today.

Palestinian Convicted of Murdering an Israeli Man in Tel Aviv in 2014

The Tel Aviv District Court has convicted a Palestinian terrorist of murdering an IDF soldier near a train station in Tel Aviv.

Nur A-Din Abu Hashiyeh, a 20-year-old resident of Nablus in Samaria, stabbed and killed Almog Shiloni in November 2014. He was unanimously convicted by the judges.

Three Israeli-Arabs Indicted for Aiding Palestinian Stabber

The police has announced that three Arab residents of Jerusalem’s Old City have been arrested and indicted in court for aiding a Palestinian terrorist who stabbed and wounded a Jewish man on May 2. According to the indictment they housed the stabber in their homes and attempted to help him escape without being caught.

16 Terror Suspects Arrested Overnight, Pistol Found in Hebron

Israeli army and police forces arrested 16 Palestinian terror suspects overnight in Judea and Samaria. Two of them are members of Hamas, and the rest are suspected of participating in violent riots directed against Israeli civilians and security forces.

Additionally, a pistol was discovered in Hebron and seized by IDF forces.

Israeli Minister Under Investigation for Insider-Trading

It was revealed on Tueday that Haim Katz, Israel’s  minister of welfare and social services from the ruling Likud party, is being investigated for corruption and insider-trading.

The Israeli Securities Authority has been investigating minister Katz since yesterday, today his name has been revealed to the media. Additionally, the Attorney General of Israel has approved a criminal investigation against the minister.
