Israeli-Arab Woman Caught with a Knife in Jerusalem’s Old City

Israel Police and Border Police forces arrested a 42-year-old Israeli Arab woman at the Damascus Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem.

The woman, resident of the Old City, was caught around 4:30 PM with a big knife in her bag after her behavior raised the suspicion of security forces at the sensitive site. She was taken for a questioning at the police station.

Damascus Gate has been the site of many terror attacks in recent months. In the most recent incident, three Palestinians armed with knives, sub-machine guns and pipe bombs killed border policewoman Hadar Cohen and wounded two others before they were shot and killed.

IDF Soldier Wounded in Stabbing Attack in Ashkelon, Terrorist Shot and Wounded

A 20-year-old Israeli soldier was stabbed at a bus stop near the central station in the city of Ashkelon shortly before 8:30 AM.

He was lightly wounded in his shoulder and was treated at the scene before being transported to Barzilai Medical Center.

The terrorist attempted to flee the scene and was shot in his legs in a nearby street. He was transported to Barzilai hospital in serious condition.

A stabbing incident by two 13-year-old female Israeli-Arabs occurred shortly before 11:00 AM, in what the police say appears to have been a terrorist attack.

A 27-year-old Israeli security guard suffered light stab injuries in his arm and leg at the entrance to the central bus station in Ramla, a mixed Jewish-Arab city in central Israel.

According to a preliminary investigation, the two teenagers, one of whom was carrying a schoolbag, produced knives and attacked him during a routine check at the entrance to the station.

The suspected terrorists were neutralized, arrested and taken for questioning at the Ramla police station.

A stabbing attack against Israeli policemen was reported shortly after 2:00 PM.

Initial details indicated that there were at least two Israelis seriously wounded, including a woman who is unconscious and required resuscitation.

Three Palestinian attackers were reported to be neutralized.

Stabbing Attempt Thwarted Near Tzur Natan After Terrorist Crossed the Security Fence

A stabbing attack was prevented on Monday morning, when a Palestinian managed to cross Israel’s security barrier, which is meant to prevent attacks.

The crossing of the fence, between the Jewish communities of Sal’it in western Samaria and Tzur Natan, was identified by a nearby IDF force. The force arrived at the area of the crossing, and the terrorist then charged at the soldiers brandishing a knife and attempted to stab them. He was subsequently shot and killed by the force.

There were no further casualties in the incident. The Palestinian terrorist was identified as 17-year-old Ahmad Al-Latif Tobah from Kafr Jammal, a nearby village.
