Stabbing Attempt in Mount Hebron; Terrorist Arrested

A young Palestinian attempted to stab IDF forces near the Sdeh Calev winery in Mount Hebron shortly after 11:00 AM, and was subsequently arrested. An army spokesperson confirmed that there were no casualties in the incident.

The terrorist is reportedly 14 years old from the nearby village of Bani Naim.

Stabbing Attack Thwarted at Tapuach Junction Following Weekend of Terror Attacks

A 17-year-old female Palestinian was caught with a knife in her hand and arrested at Tapuach Junction in Samaria, shortly before 8:00 AM. Border police forces ordered her to stop after she behaved suspiciously, and she dropped the knife. She was questioned and said she decided to carry out an attack after watching inciting videos on social media.

The latest attempted attack comes after a weekend of terror attacks and attempted attacks.

On Saturday evening an 18-year-old Palestinian was arrested at Jerusalem’s Damascus Gate after trying to stab Israeli policemen. He was arrested with the assistance of a police dog.

On Saturday morning a stabbing attempt was prevented at the entrance to the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron. A 13-year-old boy was caught with a knife and arrested by IDF forces.

A car-ramming attack was attempted on the previous day at the Palestinian town of Silwad. A 25-year-old terrorist tried to run over Israeli forces and was sunsequently shot dead. There were no further casualties in the incident.

On Friday morning, a stabbing attack at Damascus Gate left two border policemen lightly wounded. The terrorist, 20 years old from Kafr ‘Aqab near Ramallah, was subsequently shot dead. An Arab woman was lightly wounded from the gunshots directed at the terrorist.

Palestinians Attempt to Smuggle Explosive Devices into Jerusalem

According to a statement by the Israeli Police, shortly before 7 PM today, Military Policemen conducted a security inspection on a private bus about to enter Jerusalem. During the inspection two Palestinian individuals drew their and following a more thorough search of their belongings two explosive devices were discovered.

A Police Bomb squad arrived on the scene to dismantle the devices safely and the two Palestinians were taken into custody.

Stabbing Attack Next to Supermarket North of Jerusalem; Two Wounded

A stabbing attack was reported shortly before 5:00 PM in the Jewish community of Shaar Binyamin in the Binyamin region. The attack took place in the parking lot of a Rami Levy supermarket.

Two young Palestinians arrived in the area of the supermarket and stabbed two Israeli civilians, wounding them, before an armed civilian shot and neutralized the terrorists, a police spokesperson said.

According to Magen David Adom (MDA), one of the two wounded is unconscious and in serious condition after suffering stab wounds to his neck. The second man was stabbed in the back.

The two terrorists were wounded by the shooting, according to reports from the scene.

Palestinian Arrested in Jerusalem After Israeli Policemen Discovered a Knife in his Sleeve

A 26-year-old Palestinian man from Jenin was arrested shortly after 10:30 AM at Damascus Gate in Jerusalem’s Old City, a major flashpoint in the recent wave of terror attacks against Israelis.

Police Spokesperson Asi Aharoni said that forces posted at the site noticed a suspect and came up to inspect him. A concealed knife was found in the suspect’s sleeve, and he was subsequently arrested. There were no casualties in the incident.
