Twelve Palestinian terror suspects were arrested during the night in Judea and Samaria. Seven of them are Hamas members who were arrested in Hebron. The rest are suspected of participating in violent riots. They have all been taken for questioning.

A Palestinian man was arrested during the night in the village of Al-Fawwar in the Mount Hebron region, after machinery for manufacturing weapons was discovered in his house along with weapon parts. The search was conducted by police and army forces, who transferred the suspect to the Hebron police for questioning.

Elsewhere in Judea and Samaria, ten terror suspects were arrested overnight by IDF forces and taken for questioning.

The newly sworn in Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman, Chairman of the Yisrael Beiteinu Party, has relinquished his membership from Knesset under the Norwegian Law. The move would allow party member Julia Malinovsky, who is next in line in the list of the party’s potential MKs, to be sworn in as a Member of Knesset.

Yisrael Beiteinu Chairman Avigdor Liberman was sworn in as Defense Minister after the Knesset approved his appointment by a vote of 55 to 43.

Tel Aviv (TPS) – A 19-year old Israeli soldier was stabbed on Monday evening in Tel Aviv in an apparent terror attack. The victim, who was reportedly stabbed with a screwdriver, sustained light to moderate wounds on the upper portion of his body, said paramedics who provided treatment on the scene.

The police announced that a Palestinian suspect from the Judea and Samaria territories, approximately 17 years old, is in custody. The attack was apparently terror related, the police said.

The victim was transferred to the Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv, where he is being treated for light wounds, the hospital said.
