Police Discovers 4,000 Bullets in Palestinian’s Car near Hebron

The Judea and Samaria Police Department has arrested a 29-year-old Palestinian resident of the village of Ar-Rihiya near Hebron for posession of arms.

The suspect was arrested after 4,000 9mm bullets were discovered in his car. He was taken for questioning at the police department offices.

Palestinian Woman Caught with a Knife at Qalandiya Checkpoint

IDF forces arrested a Palestinian woman at the Qalandiya checkpoint north of Jerusalem, after a screening of her bag revealed a knife in it.

She was arrested, and said during her interrogation that she was carrying the knife for the purpose of committing a stabbing attack against Israelis.

Attempted Stabbing Attack In Jerusalem’s Old City

A Palestinian woman attempted to commit a stabbing attack on Israeli policemen near Jerusalem’s Western Wall. The attacker was shot and moderately wounded. The police have secured the area surrounding the scene of the attack.

The attacker, Fadwa Abu Tayyar, is a 50-year-old resident of eastern Jerusalem.

A Japanese tourist was attacked yesterday near the location of today’s attack when rocks were pelted in her direction as she and a group of tourists were reportedly visiting St. Anne’s Church.

 

IDF Seals Home Of Perpetrator of Car-Ramming Attack

In accordance with the Civil Administration in Judea and Samaria, IDF Forces and Border Policemen overnight March the 8th, sealed the home of Ibrahim Samir Saqafi who committed a car-ramming attack November 4, 2015 that killed Border Policeman Binyamin Yaakovovitz.

Japanese Tourist Wounded in Rock-Throwing Attack in Jerusalem

A rock-throwing attack was committed shortly after 3:00 p.m. near the Lion’s Gate in Jerusalem’s Old City.

According to the police, the rocks were thrown from roofs in the Muslim Quarter at a group of tourists visiting St Anne’s Church.

A 69-year-old female Japanese tourist was lightly wounded in the incident, suffering wounds in her upper body. She was treated at the scene and transported to Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital.

Police forces immediately began scouring the area in search of suspects.

After being treated at the hospital, the victim said that “I am visiting Israel with a Japanese group of people who love Israel. I was extremely surprised by the incident and in that moment I prayed and didn’t understand what it was that was hurting me,” the victim said.

She added that “I am still happy that I came to Israel and I don’t regret it. I will continue to tour and will rejoin the group shortly after I have been treated in Hadassah.”
